Saturday evening 7th December witnessed the presentation of cheques to three very worthy local charities.  All of whom do such fantastic work and we are very proud to be associated with them.

Meningitis Now, Inclusion Gloucestershire and The Dursley Lions benefitted from this year’s highly successful Frocester Beer Festival.

The evening kicked off with an introduction by beer Festival chairman Paul Mukasa, who in turn thanked everyone who contributed to this years success. 

A table top quiz began, courtesy of Pete Davis, which involved everyone and was a brilliant way of people feeling relaxed and talking to each other, even if they have never met before!

This was followed by the presentation of the cheques with each beneficiary saying a few words about the amazing work each of them do day in day out.

A thank you from club chairman John Evans was then followed by hot food, served on what was a night of celebration of the work that’s going on everyday by some amazing people.
