We have always been powered by the people who care about it. Players, parents, supporters, and friends who give their time to keep the club thriving. As we look ahead to the coming season and beyond, we’re opening the door to anyone who’d like to get involved, whether you can spare an hour a week or help on a project-by-project basis.
Website & Digital Support
We’re looking for people who can help keep the club’s online presence fresh, accurate, and engaging. This could include:
- Updating match reports, news, and announcements
- Managing fixtures, results, and player information
- Helping improve the layout, design, or functionality of the website
- Supporting social media updates and digital communication
No specialist experience is required—just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
Club Archive & History Project

Frocester CC has a rich history, and we want to preserve it properly. If you enjoy local history, research, or organising information, you could help with:
- Sorting and cataloguing old photos, scorebooks, and memorabilia
- Digitising historical material
- Writing short pieces about the club’s past
- Helping build an online archive for future generations
This is a brilliant role for anyone who loves cricket heritage or enjoys a good rummage through the past.
Sponsorship & Community Partnerships

Local support is vital to the club’s long-term sustainability. We’re looking for volunteers who can help us:
- Identify potential sponsors
- Build relationships with local businesses
- Create sponsorship packages
- Help promote our partners through the club’s channels
If you’re confident talking to people or have experience in sales, marketing, or community engagement, this is a great way to make a big impact.
Coaching: Youth & Senior Cricket

Coaching is one of the most rewarding ways to support the club, and we’re looking to grow our team across both youth and senior cricket.
Youth Coaching
Our junior section continues to grow, and we want to give every young player the best possible experience. You don’t need to be an expert just patient, positive, and willing to get involved. Roles include helping run training sessions, supporting All Stars and Dynamos, assisting with matchdays, or simply being an extra pair of hands.
Senior Coaching
We’re also looking for volunteers to support our senior squads. This could involve helping run nets, assisting with warm-ups, offering specialist skills (batting, bowling, fielding), or supporting player development. Whether you’re an experienced cricketer or someone who enjoys mentoring others, your contribution can make a real difference.
Training and support can be provided for anyone interested in gaining coaching qualifications.
Matchday & Clubhouse Support
There are always small but important jobs that make matchdays run smoothly. You might help with:
- Scoring or live‑updating results
- Helping in the bar or kitchen
- Setting up or packing away equipment
- Welcoming visiting teams and supporters
These roles are perfect for anyone who enjoys being around the club on game days.
Grounds & Maintenance

Our facilities are the heart of the club, and we’re always grateful for help with:
- Pitch preparation
- General maintenance and repairs
- Gardening and groundskeeping
- Seasonal improvement projects
Whether you’re handy with tools or just enjoy being outdoors, your help makes a huge difference.
Why Volunteer?
Volunteering at Fros is flexible, rewarding, and genuinely appreciated. You’ll:
- Meet new people
- Support local cricket
- Learn new skills
- Help shape the future of a club with deep community roots
Every contribution—big or small—helps keep the club strong.
Interested?
If you’d like to get involved or want to know more about any of the roles above, please get in touch with the club committee. We’d love to hear from you and help you find a role that suits your time, interests, and skills.
