1. Nick Trainor
Unbelievable batsman and captain. The stats speak for themselves, seen him take apart some of the best bowlers in the league. A useful spinner who always breaks partnerships. Personally he helped me take my game to the next level when I started in the 1sts and one of the main reasons I managed to get to play at that level.
2. Chris Whincup
A Frocester legend despite his young age. Scores runs for fun at the top of the order. Handy medium pace bowler and a great pair of hands in the gully region.
3. Paul Muchall
One of our best ever players, all rounder cricketer, could bat long and run well between wickets, immense fielder and his bowling was another level, wouldn’t be the new ball bowler though!
4. Louis Gegg
Best wicket keeper I have ever played with or against. Seen him take some unreal stumpings and catches. Quality batter in the middle order.
5. Tom Wand
Another middle order batter who churned runs for 4 or 5 seasons when the 1sts won the WEPL Prem! Outstanding slip fielder and always brings the tunes!
6. Mark Hardinges
Although only playing for Frocester for a few seasons he was an unbelievable professional and always contributed to the game. Learnt a lot from training and playing with him.
7. Ashley Davis
Probably the most all-round cricketer I’ve played with. Can take apart any bowler or rebuild an innings if needed, a good spin bowler and a gun fielder.
8. Sam Birch
Underated all-rounder who scored important runs and took wickets bowling his little medium pace dob! Joined Frocester at the same time as I did and share many fond memories of games in the 1st or 2nd XI.
9. Dave ‘Rico’ Richardson
he skipper of the 2s when I joined Frocester. Took wickets for fun at the top of the order and belted the ball when batting.
10. Courtney Ricketts
Another spinner but just so accurate and annoying to face, he made spin bowling look so easy, his economy rate would help others to take the wickets as they have to attack other bowlers.
10. Nigel Riglar
The other opening bowler for the 2s along with Rico when I joined Frocester. Took a huge amount of wickets for hardly any runs. Made my job easier as I got to bowl at the tailenders!
