Sunday 31st July

In a rare opportunity for the 5th XI to play at Pounds Close they took full advantage in defeating Frampton 2nd XI in a rearranged league fixture.

Saturday 30th July

Frocester defeated Bristol in a very close encounter to open up a 12 point gap at the top of the table following Bath’ s defeat at Potterne.


Friday 15th July

Frocester Midweek XI v Cam CC, played at Kings Stanley Sports Club.

The winning team, all of whom came through the Frocester CC youth coaching set up.


Friday 24th June: 

Frocester Under 19’s v Cirencester Under 19’s (T20) – home at Pounds Close.
Game starts at 6.00 pm, the boys would appreciate your support. To be played in the now traditional T20 format, i.e. coloured kit, orange ball, music and there will be a BBQ fired up as well.

Both cup games this Sunday the 19th June, the first away at Bridgwater and the thirds at home to Gloucester A.I.W. were abandoned around tea due to rain.

Both these matches will have to be rearranged. Further news when made available.

Pecker, soaking up the atmosphere, coming in from the Bath Road end, wishing he had wore spikes. Having the off side well covered he was on a roll. Things didn’t go as planned but as he said afterwards, ” It’s all water under the bridge now”.  It was noted that Eric had a few pre match glasses of wine so it is thought he was three sheets to the wind!

Frocester CC v Bath CC  – Victory by some considerable margin (Frocester CC 255 for 4 / Bath CC 59 all out) sees Frocester reach the last 32. Next round is an away tie at Bridgwater on Sunday 19th June.

Congratulations to the first XI who today defeated Bristol CC in the 2nd round of the Royal London National Club Knockout Cup. Earning a home draw to either Bath CC or Corsham CC on Sunday 29th May.
